Business Development Trainee Position

Polar Marketing, a leading national company with offices spanning the country, is seeking a dedicated Business Manager Trainee to drive sales margins and enhance our team's abilities. The successful candidate will learn all aspects of our business, starting with entry-level sales and account management, progressing into training and developing roles, and transitioning into an office support manager over the next year to 18 months.
Key Responsibilities- Master client CRM systems and databases to boost sales profits.
- Analyze target markets and territories for maximum efficiency.
- Engage with clients' consumers, educating them on products, promotions, and brand benefits.
- Become a skilled negotiator and closer to increase sales revenue and identify expansion opportunities.
- Ensure accurate customer information on all managed accounts.
- Shadow senior management to learn training techniques and effectively train new team members.
- Develop consistency in team member production and professionalism, increasing retention rates within 6-8 months.
- Learn and implement office organization and backend support needs, such as payroll and human resources, within 1 year.
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a transferable field of study is preferred.
- A high-performing problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
- A strong desire to help others and build lasting relationships.
- Dedication to success, professional development, and growth.
- Unwavering professionalism both in and out of the office.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in customer service, sales, or leadership.
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000, commensurate with experience. Polar Marketing offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
