Senior Air Quality Engineer

Location: Denver, CO or Houston, TX

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Air Quality Engineer to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our dynamic company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and cutting-edge projects across various industries, including oil & gas, manufacturing, and energy.

You will be responsible for leading air quality permitting and compliance projects, conducting air dispersion modeling, and developing environmental compliance strategies for industrial clients. Additionally, you will interface directly with clients to understand their needs, present findings, and guide them toward compliance and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead air quality permitting and compliance projects, including Title V, PSD, and NSR permitting.
  • Conduct air dispersion modeling, emissions inventory development, and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies for industrial clients.
  • Interface directly with clients to understand their needs, present findings, and guide them toward compliance and sustainability goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering (or a related field).
  • 5-10+ years of experience in air quality permitting, compliance, and consulting.
  • Strong technical expertise in air emissions modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD) and regulatory programs.
  • Proven success in consulting, including client management, project delivery, and team collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
