Position: Clinical Oncology Pharmacist

The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care, offering education on cancer treatment protocols, and managing medication therapies in accordance with established standards.

  • Reviewing chemotherapy regimens through electronic medical records
  • Enhancing medication therapies to minimize potential errors
  • Conducting pharmacokinetic assessments
  • Creating medication guidelines and protocols
  • Leading educational initiatives for staff on oncology-related subjects
  • Contributing to the pharmacy department's clinical projects
  • Promoting cost-effective use of medications
  • Engaging in quality improvement efforts

Essential Qualifications

1. Valid NY State Pharmacy License

2. Minimum of 2 years experience in Oncology Clinical Pharmacy

3. Completion of a postgraduate specialty residency or fellowship in Oncology Pharmacy

Desirable Qualifications

1. Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP)
