The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Coach to join our team at Orangetheory Fitness Franchise #0308. As a Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically designed workouts to a maximum of 45 clients per session. This role requires strong coaching and time management skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire individuals in a group setting.
Responsibilities- Lead and Inspire Members: Demonstrate exercises and proper techniques to ensure participants understand the correct form and technique to perform them safely and effectively.
- Class Dynamics: Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere by fostering a sense of community and teamwork among participants. Manage the flow of the class, ensuring a smooth transition between exercises and keeping everyone engaged and focused.
- Safety and Prevention: Prioritize the safety of participants by monitoring their movements, correcting improper form, and addressing any safety concerns. Maintain a clean and hazard-free exercise environment and be prepared to administer basic first aid if necessary.
- Member Engagement: Consistently engage with members and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Certification: Must currently hold a current fitness certification from an Orangetheory-approved education company.
- Knowledge and Skills: Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics. Ability to multi-task and stay organized. Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry.
- Certifications: CPR/AED certification.
