Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at McShane Construction Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of multi-family housing, senior living, student housing, and hospitality projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze working drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans, to ensure buildability, details, and dimensions are accurate.
  • Manage and maintain the jobsite, including trailer, signage, material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility access, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement safety measures and company programs to conform with OSHA standards and ensure a safe workplace.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, focusing on identifying critical paths to meet desired schedules.
  • Conduct regular project inspections to address owner concerns and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Monitor project labor productivity and budget deviations, keeping the company informed of any issues.
  • Review and coordinate project construction documents, including shop drawings and material quantities, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the completion of all project disciplines necessary to receive a certificate of occupancy.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family construction, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete experience.
  • College education a plus.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, and methods.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven record of building on schedule.
  • Ability to identify, investigate, and quantify project problems and corresponding alternatives and consequences.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work productively with others and foster solid client relationships.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
  • Ability to use the Internet and Microsoft Office 365.
