ServiceNow Portfolio Manager

Randstad is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Portfolio Manager to join our client's team in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing portfolios, with specific experience in leading ServiceNow projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively oversee and optimize a portfolio of ServiceNow initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee the ServiceNow project portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with business goals and delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop Portfolio Strategies: Work closely with PMO leadership to develop and implement portfolio management strategies, frameworks, and processes.
- Monitor Project Performance: Monitor project performance across the portfolio, providing regular updates to stakeholders and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Project Managers: Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution, including resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the portfolio, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all ServiceNow portfolio-related matters, facilitating communication between stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with PMO governance standards, methodologies, and tools across the ServiceNow portfolio.
- Interdependency Management: Identify and manage interdependencies between projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization and minimizing risks.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers within the portfolio, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Portfolio Management Experience: Proven experience in portfolio management within a PMO environment.
- ServiceNow Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering ServiceNow projects.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Portfolio Management Tools: Proficiency in portfolio management tools and methodologies.
- Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
- Experience Level: Experienced
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience
