Job Description

We are seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer to support, maintain, and enhance its ServiceNow platform, which is instrumental in executing, managing, and maintaining business functions. This is a full-time, onsite, long term contract position.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide functional and technical support for the client's ServiceNow platform

  • Conduct day-to-day operational and maintenance activities

  • Address and resolve issues involving defects, bugs, and errors

  • Engage in business analysis and requirements gathering for enhancements

  • Execute both planned and urgent enhancement work within tight deadlines

  • Perform standard platform/system administration tasks including user, group, and role record management, system access auditing, and documentation authoring

  • Support the development and maintenance of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Security Operations, Strategic Portfolio Management, ITOM, and IT Asset Management

  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems from vendors including Microsoft, Dell, Absolute, Broadcom, and Oracle

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration

  • Proficient in ServiceNow platform administration, including auditing and update set migration

  • Skilled in developing and maintaining various ServiceNow modules and in creating workflows, forms, and managing CMDB data

  • Capable of integrating ServiceNow with various third-party systems

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects efficiently and deliver on time

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

  • Familiarity with quality assurance best practices and methodologies

  • Agile and Scrum methodology experience for iterative development and deployment

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • Certifications in ITIL or project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
