Job Opportunity: Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at an elementary school in Devon, PA. This is a contract role through the end of the school year, with the possibility of being brought on for the next school year.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to a student with autism or core academic support needs
  • Work collaboratively with the student, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Help the student with academic and behavioral goals, as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Requirements:
  • PCA background
  • Flexibility and ability to work with a range of challenges
  • Coachability and willingness to learn and adapt
