Job Overview

The Human Resources Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team throughout the employee lifecycle, including the management of onboarding, transitions, separations, and various employment changes. This individual will also assist in maintaining and organizing HR systems, managing inquiries, and executing other HR-related responsibilities.

  • Reports to: Head of Human Resources Operations
  • This position will be a hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office and 2 flexible days (remote or in-office) per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the HR team's ticketing system and serve as the primary contact for general HR, Benefits, and Payroll inquiries.
  • Assist with the operational functions of the Recruitment team.
  • Act as a liaison for leaders regarding job requisitions, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with Finance, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Conduct data entry for all change requests within the Workday HRIS system, including internal transfers, promotions, and department changes.
  • Support benefits and payroll processes as required.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, including I-9 verifications, e-verify, and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and files.
  • Assist with offboarding procedures.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a background in customer service.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Familiarity with Workday software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous learning.
  • Experience with enterprise systems.
