Position Overview

The Culinary Specialist II is responsible for the preparation and cooking of various dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. This role involves the following key responsibilities:

  • Ingredient Preparation: Portion, chop, and store food items; wash and peel fresh produce.
  • Cooking Duties: Prepare and cook food items following recipes and presentation standards; operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and fryers.
  • Quality Control: Test food items to ensure proper cooking and monitor quality during food preparation.
  • Workstation Management: Set up and break down workstations; maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and security policies; report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with team members; communicate effectively and support team goals.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related culinary role.

Compensation and Benefits
