The Inventory Control & Returns Specialist role is integral in ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and managed optimally. This Inventory Control & Returns Specialist will ensure the effective tracking and placement of materials, process returns, and collaborate closely with various departments to maintain the gold standard of inventory management set by the company.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular cycle counts of warehouse inventory aligned with management's objectives. Thoroughly investigate any shortages or overages, performing root cause analyses and proposing adjustments to reduce inventory discrepancies.
• Scrutinize, reconcile, and process all inbound customer returns. For non-stock return materials, ensure they are sent back to the suppliers. Always keep the company's business systems updated to reflect accurate statuses of each return.
• Engage actively with sales teams, operations management, customers in the field, and the central returns management and inventory control departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties assigned. Work mandatory overtime as needed.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Inventory Control and Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
