Burrow Global is seeking a skilled Capital Project Manager to join their team for a long-term assignment at a petrochemical facility in the Pasadena, TX area.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing infrastructure, maintenance, and reliability capital projects in a Chemical Plant or Refinery setting.

This is a unique opportunity to drive a portfolio of projects in various stages, from early design through turnover to operations, with a focus on managing cost, scope, schedule, and internal reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will be adept at influencing both internal and external resources, producing tangible results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the execution of engineering design, procurement, construction, and turnover to manufacturing of capital projects
  • Ensuring accurate cost budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and reporting of assigned projects
  • Providing clear, accurate scopes of work and construction packages, including documentation
  • Analyzing and managing risks on projects
  • Facilitating safety and constructability reviews
  • Creating requisitions for engineered items and developing spare parts lists
  • Reporting on cost and schedule attainment
  • Communicating and resolving technical and commercial issues related to project objectives
  • Initiating the Management of Change and coordinating with the site PSM representative regarding PHA requirements

Required qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management in the Chemical and/or Refining industry
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications include:

  • PMP or other certifications in Project Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or institution
  • Oracle ERP systems experience
  • Self-starter with effective management of multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Understanding and adherence to safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Fact-based, structured decision-making process
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to drive projects to completion and hold team members accountable for project deliverables
