Air Quality Project Manager

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking an experienced Air Quality Engineer to support our Capital Projects team in the TX Gulf Coast region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied process engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering large capital projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Task and project management, including planning and implementing multidisciplinary projects
  • Applying project management tools to conduct budgeting and budget management, ensure adherence to schedule, and enhance client satisfaction
  • Assisting Client Manager and technical resource specialists to set, manage, and meet client expectations regarding project execution
  • Implementing quality management practices to maintain work product quality
  • Engaging and coordinating project resources and subcontractors to execute project work
  • Providing technical input and review of project deliverables
  • Supporting company and action group initiatives with respect to project execution and other applicable topics
  • Collaborating with others to identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities as applicable

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering and project management
  • Strong background with applied process engineering
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing businesses
  • Experience in the development and approval of sales plans and tracking goals and metrics
  • Experience managing large capital project development including managing multiple contracts across trades and engineering disciplines
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of applying local, state, and federal codes and regulations to project development
  • Experience with managing multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
