We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our Purchasing and Supply Chain Team at JH Kelly. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the procurement process, including researching and evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing purchase orders.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, including project management and field personnel, to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide support with tracking quotes, reviewing spreadsheet analysis, and contacting suppliers for adjustments related to non-conformance, defects, cancellations, or price variations.
  • Assist with resolving invoice and delivery discrepancies associated with purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Manage document control, including Submittals and O&M Manuals, as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
