About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced culinary professional to join our team as a Lead Cook Trainee. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Sous Chef in running the kitchen and managing employees, overseeing operations in the absence of the Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food products are consistently prepared.
  • Lead by example and provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage employee performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Prep or Line Cook.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality assurance principles.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts (preferred).
