The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join our team at Avantor. In this role, you will work closely with our Lab and Production Services team to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location: Malvern, PA

Schedule: 2p -10:30 pm (off on Wednesday and Thursday)

Pay rate: $21/hr.- $22/hr. + 10% shift differential

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Experience: 1 year of relevant job experience in a GMP environment, or experience in janitorial services.

Collaboration Tool: Knowledge of Information intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, and security clearances.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills; display a professional can-do attitude.
  • Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
  • Must be flexible, motivated, and have the ability to act independently.
  • Must exhibit core values and behaviors (Integrity, respect, collaboration, accountability, etc.)
  • Must have ability to understand, read, and write technical information.

Responsibilities:

As a Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for performing multiple cleaning types per client SOP's which vary in complexity. You will maintain multiple janitorial closets in a GMP, 6S, in a state of inspection readiness at all times.

Key Skills:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
  • Diagnosing cleaning equipment maintenance needs
  • Stocking, sorting, collecting, and transporting gowns and supplies
