Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Prepress Technician to join our team at Smartpress, a leading online printing service. As a Prepress Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that electronic customer files and layouts are prepared for printing. Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that electronic customer files and layouts contain the necessary components.
  • Prepare files to match the original art design.
  • Check files to ensure they are printable and meet the desired end product.
  • Document, name, and rip files correctly.
  • Use computers and systems to set up functions, enter data, and process information.
Requirements
  • High School degree or GED required.
  • Associate degree in graphic arts a plus, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
