Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Prepress Technician to join our team at The Bernard Group | Smartpress. As a Prepress Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that electronic customer files and layouts are accurate and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare electronic customer files and layouts for printing
  • Ensure that files contain the necessary components and are properly formatted
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools to manipulate and analyze print-ready files
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to increase efficiency
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required; associate degree in graphic arts a plus
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and PitStop
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
