Prepress Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Prepress Technician to join our team at The Bernard Group | Smartpress. As a Prepress Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our print products.

• Ensure that electronic customer files and layouts contain the necessary components
• Prepare files to match the original art design
• Check files to ensure they are printable and meet the desired end product
• Use Adobe Creative Suite tools to manipulate and output print-ready files
• Identify process improvement opportunities and automate workflow using PitStop software

• High School degree or GED required
• Associate degree in graphic arts or equivalent work experience
• Proficient computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite and PitStop
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
