Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Disability Assessment
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled medical professional to conduct thorough medical evaluations on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth, face-to-face medical exams on each Veteran to assess their condition and provide an accurate assessment.
- Review electronic medical records through a secure web portal and document findings from the exam.
- Analyze data from medical records and exam results to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license that is NCCPA accredited.
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA for this position.
This is an in-person role with a typical day involving 3-5 patients. The schedule is part-time, with working hours from Monday to Wednesday (7am-1pm, 2pm-5pm) and Thursday (7am-11am). All work is performed in a clinical setting.
