Key Responsibilities:

Handle freight – may require lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing over 75 pounds.
Conduct pre-trip inspections, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
Establish job parameters and inspect sites to ensure safe unloading conditions.
Unload materials at job sites – this may involve setting up safety barriers, occasionally lifting heavy materials, and utilizing a truck-mounted crane.
Exhibit a daily commitment to safety by adhering to all safety protocols and consistently wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain regular communication with dispatch to ensure timely product delivery.
Report any potential hazards to management.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
NCCCO & Crane Institute Certification required.
Valid Class A/B CDL license in good standing with a minimum of 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
Experience operating a knuckle boom crane truck or similar machinery preferred.
Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and heavy equipment operation for unloading is advantageous.
Comprehensive understanding of crane operations, rigging techniques, and applicable safety regulations.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
