Job Summary:

AutoZone is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to provide support to our retail stores by performing preventative maintenance within an assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high level of customer service

• Adhere to AutoZone dress code

• Ability to travel overnight frequently

• Maintain a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• Perform routine store visits to identify and perform building and ground repair work.

• Perform preventive building maintenance duties on retail AutoZone stores in a geographical area

• Perform routine and general repair maintenance, as well as, troubleshoot minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or maintenance

• Grade and report stores physical conditions and appearance via electronic media

• Create, manage and monitor necessary work for all assigned stores in Work Order Management System

• Assist with identifying vendors in support of stores

• Perform diagnostics on Energy Management System

• Properly maintain vehicle(s) and take the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance

• Ability to work all the hours (of operation) that we are open for business

• Follow all company policies, procedures and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)

• Trade or Technical School courses preferred but not required

• 1-2 years previous Maintenance experience or equivalent education (additional experience and/or education a plus)

• HVAC certifications preferred but not required

• Electrical, plumbing, and general construction skills

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements

• 21 years or older
