About the Role:
PennEngineering is on the lookout for a passionate and driven individual to join our Link Tool Group as a CNC Machinist specializing in precision turning. In this role, you will work alongside talented teams engaged in remarkable projects.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves setting up, operating, and managing hard turning and related machinery within the Mazak CNC Hard Turn operations. Specific duties include:
  • Operating and tending to Mazak CNC machines.
  • Loading and unloading materials, making basic offsets, and changing wheel packs.
  • Troubleshooting programs and dressing wheel packs.
  • Setting up machines according to setup sheets or customer specifications.
  • Verifying machine setups by inspecting product characteristics to ensure compliance with part print specifications.
  • Cleaning parts and transferring them to subsequent operations.
  • Conducting routine machine maintenance and completing preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools.
  • Strong visual acuity for detailed tasks.
  • The capability to lift and maneuver up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Additional Skills:
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Adherence to safety regulations and protocols.

Work Environment:
As part of a manufacturing team, you may encounter fumes, airborne particles, dirt, dust, and solvents. Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, may be required based on production needs.
