This is a CNC machinist position at Flowserve Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 5 Axis CNC Mazak Integrex machine to produce precision parts and instruments.
  • Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
  • Fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments.
  • Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
  • Develop, design, and grind special tooling instruments and fixtures required for non-standard and experimental products.
  • Develop the machining processes to ensure the product is produced efficiently.
  • Assist operators with deburring, gauge set up, and first article inspection.
  • Exhibit behavior that contributes toward an environment that encourages team building, decision making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to safe work habits, rules, and practices.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace, including preventative machine maintenance.
  • Responsible for the quality of work performed.
  • Work efficiently and to required specifications with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience operating a 5 axis CNC machine, CNC mill/drill or CNC Lathe and CNC Mill.
  • Possess previous experience in gauge training, geometric tolerancing, and blueprint reading.
  • Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver around machinery safely.
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, and work ethic.
  • Machine set-up experience is strongly preferred.
