Position Summary:

As a Senior Systems Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and installation of advanced commercial integrated systems, which encompass Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video Surveillance. You will need to demonstrate a robust technical skill set along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute servicing and/or installation of various integrated systems.
  • Handle servicing and/or installation of both basic and sophisticated network devices.
  • Organize and manage routing and scheduling for commercial service assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • At least 2 years of experience in fire detection and signaling systems (including burglary, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control).
    • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the industry.
  • Certification/License:
    • Valid driver's license is mandatory.
    • State licensing is required.
    • Preferred: ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent.
    • Preferred: NICET Fire or Video Level 2 certification.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse individuals to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Assist in the design of integrated systems; possess knowledge of software and programming for primary manufacturers utilized by the branch.
    • Ability to interpret and design integrated systems in compliance with local jurisdiction requirements.
