As a leading provider in the field, we offer a collaborative and supportive environment where clinicians can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health support. Our multidisciplinary team includes Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Peer Advocates, and Registered Nurses, all working together to deliver holistic and individualized care.
Your Role:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management as clinically appropriate.
- Review and approve treatment plans, health screen questionnaires, and other clinical documentation requiring psychiatric oversight.
- Provide expert guidance and support during psychiatric emergencies.
- Participate actively in case conferences, incident review meetings, and mortality case reviews to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Supervise Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, offering consultations and expertise as needed.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records within our Electronic Health Record system.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry with an active New York State License. Additional Board Eligibility or Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry is highly preferred.
- Unrestricted DEA License.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Eligible or active enrollment as a Medicare and Medicaid provider.
