About the Unit
We are a 64-bed Inpatient Rehab Unit that sees a variety of patients who need to work on both their functional and medical problems. Our team provides care to patients recovering from orthopedic issues, neurology patients, and those with complex medical and surgical issues. We offer 15 hours of therapy across the 7-day week, and our nursing staff continues the interventions practiced by patients in therapy sessions to ensure safe mobility. For many of our patients, rehabilitation is the key to getting back home with their families.

Scope of Work
As a Nursing Assistant on our Inpatient Rehab Unit, you will provide care to patients according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include safe transport of patients, dispatch services, and documentation of services. You will also provide observation services for patients who require constant observation to maximize their safety.

Qualifications
- You must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience is preferred.
- You must have American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification.
- Current CNA certification is preferred.
