Position Overview:
Bizzell Group is seeking a qualified Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) Technician to enhance our Facilities Maintenance and Management division. The selected candidate will be tasked with executing predictive maintenance, testing, and inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to guarantee the reliability and optimal performance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct predictive maintenance activities, including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and oil analysis on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of equipment to detect potential failures and recommend corrective measures.
- Analyze data from predictive maintenance tools and generate comprehensive reports on equipment condition and performance.
- Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to support overall operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain and calibrate predictive maintenance tools and equipment.
- Document all maintenance activities, findings, and recommendations in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Engage in ongoing training and development programs to remain updated with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in predictive maintenance and inspection.
- Extensive knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to interpret data from predictive maintenance tools and provide informed recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to predictive maintenance and facilities management.
- Previous experience in a high-tech or research environment is preferred.
- Certification in vibration analysis, thermography, or other predictive maintenance disciplines is advantageous.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of green building practices and sustainability initiatives is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
