Position: RTM Software Testing Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY

The RTM Software Testing Specialist is responsible for overseeing and synchronizing software evaluation processes for RTM. This role involves collaboration with release trains from various Government Point of Contact projects and other offices to ensure that stakeholders are informed about testing activities and that capabilities meet necessary dependencies and cross-program functionalities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with essential NGA testing organizations in accordance with their established processes and standards.
  • Ensure that Factory Acceptance Testing, Operational Readiness Testing, and NTO Test Readiness Review (TRR) are effectively scheduled and monitored.
  • Engage at the Release Train Level, overseeing all testing and demonstrations of software package deliveries within their Release Trains.
  • Establish and facilitate all demonstration gates, working closely with Mission and Product owners, vendors, and engineers to coordinate meetings and document discussions, modifications, and decisions for each proposed solution set.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience in Government Programs, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and reporting on the testing and deployment of complex systems into operational environments.
  • Familiarity with working within a SAFe Agile framework.
  • Proficient in using JIRA/Confluence and Tableau.
  • Direct experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in monitoring, reporting progress, and capturing lessons learned for testing and transition activities, including Transition Activity Plans (TAPs).
