Position Summary: The Field Sales Executive will be instrumental in securing contracts with municipal and governmental bodies, advocating for a diverse array of specialized machinery tailored for street and sewer upkeep. This role demands a proactive sales expert capable of effectively expanding and managing their designated territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with municipal and governmental clients to market and sell street and sewer machinery.
- Present product demonstrations and provide comprehensive information to prospective clients regarding the features and advantages of the equipment.
- Oversee the complete sales process from initial outreach to finalizing agreements.
- Participate in industry trade shows and deliver presentations to highlight the latest innovations and equipment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate strategies for market expansion and development.
- Relay timely insights to management concerning client feedback and sales opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within the equipment sector targeting governmental or municipal clients.
- Familiarity with street and sewer maintenance machinery is highly beneficial.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously and travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Salary range from $30,000 to $70,000 depending on experience, accompanied by a variable commission structure. Higher base salaries correspond with lower commission rates, while lower base salaries provide opportunities for increased commissions based on sales achievements.
