The Billing Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of the billing department, providing leadership and direction for all monthly billing activities.

This position is accountable for the timely and precise generation of client invoices, as well as ensuring swift responses to all billing inquiries from both internal teams and clients. The role involves collaboration with leaders from various departments to enhance process efficiencies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary communication liaison with sales, frontline operations, and finance.
  • Serve as the main escalation point for any billing disputes. Facilitate meetings or calls with clients and internal teams as necessary to resolve issues.
  • Oversee the team during the monthly billing cycle; ensure the accuracy of entries and effectively identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to address and resolve client billing challenges.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures for all processes. Analyze billing adjustment trends and create strategies to mitigate them in the future.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience in people management, with a proven track record of nurturing junior talent is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial systems, particularly NetSuite and SFDC, is preferred.
  • Experience with the XR Billing Platform is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach and success in a collaborative team environment are essential.
