Organizing Manager

Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Organizing Manager to lead the Team ENOUGH program. As a key member of our Organizing Department, you will be responsible for managing the grassroots advocacy, mobilization, and training for Brady and Team ENOUGH activists, while also engaging with local and nationwide partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a multi-year organizing strategy and plan for Team ENOUGH chapters and grassroots, including recruitment and retention strategies.
- Manage volunteer and chapter recruitment and retention, working closely with our National Chapter Coordinator to formalize the process of operating a chapter and help them build power.
- Engage and organize communities disproportionately affected by gun violence, offering a national organization to lift their voices, build power, and take action.
- Manage the Team ENOUGH Executive Council and collaborate with other departments to further strategic goals.
- Represent Brady and Team ENOUGH at coalition meetings, conferences, and special events.
- Minimum five years of experience in relational and community organizing/base-building, working on issue advocacy campaigns and developing grassroots leadership.
- Experience in creating and implementing grassroots organizing strategic plans.
- Strong understanding of issue advocacy strategies and tactics.
- Positive, proactive, and personable team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong relationship builder who understands and respects the importance of volunteers and partner organizations.
