Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Cancer Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing routine technical duties in a laboratory or patient area. This includes performing venipunctures, finger sticks, and other phlebotomy procedures. You will also be responsible for labeling and transporting specimens to the main processing area.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine phlebotomy procedures in a laboratory or patient area
Label and transport specimens to the main processing area
Maintain accurate records of phlebotomy procedures and specimen handling
Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen processing
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
One year of phlebotomy experience performing venipunctures and finger sticks
Practical knowledge of information system operations
Phlebotomy Certificate and/or Certification in Medical Assisting required
Strong verbal communication skills in English language
Strong writing skills in English language
