Job Overview

The Senior Technical Architect specializing in Zero Trust Solutions will collaborate with key stakeholders and various vendors to enhance the governance framework for implementing and supporting the objectives of Zero Trust Assessments (ZTA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic technical guidance at an enterprise level to transition legacy systems to a Zero Trust Architecture, with over 100 systems slated for migration.
  • Assist the ZTA management team in formulating and recommending effective technical solutions.
  • Advise on security requirements and offer architectural insights to bolster cybersecurity measures.
  • Engage with the Agency Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment with broader architectural goals.
  • Deliver system engineering and architectural design support services.
  • Lead and mentor a technical team while actively participating in projects involving advanced technologies.
  • Support business development and corporate initiatives as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A Master of Science degree (or higher) in fields such as computer science, electronics engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or cybersecurity, or equivalent experience of 8 additional years.
  • Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in securing cloud-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and technical skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and a solid grasp of technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP certification.
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification.
  • Familiarity with RMF, CSF, FISMA, and Fedramp frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ZTNA and SASE Framework, ICAM (OKTA), CWPP, SOC Operations, Vulnerability Threat Management, and Compliance.
Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
