Job Description

Position Overview

The Hive Group is seeking experienced Procurement Specialists to support our government clients in a dynamic contracting environment. This role encompasses a range of contracting activities aimed at fulfilling the needs of our clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to clients on acquisition processes and assist in formulating strategies to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Gather and evaluate market data to pinpoint potential vendors and offer insights on competitive alternatives.
  • Support the creation of requirements documentation and procurement submissions.
  • Design and implement project plans to meet objectives and guarantee the prompt execution of tasks.
  • Leverage various platforms for advertising procurement opportunities, including GSA E-Buy and NASA SEWP.
  • Draft solicitations incorporating necessary provisions and clauses in the specified format.
  • Assess and review bids/proposals to ensure adherence to solicitation criteria.
  • Identify avenues for small business participation and preference programs in solicitations.
  • Compile and verify contract documentation in accordance with established protocols.
  • Examine invoices and authorize payment decisions.
  • Manage contract closure and maintain records appropriately.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active TS Clearance
  • Eight (8) to Twelve (12) years of experience in federal contracting.
  • FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification is preferred.
