Job Summary:
This is a part-time Float position.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides requested images of high diagnostic quality based on the specifics of each case.
Interacts effectively and professionally with patients, referring physicians and their staffs and co-workers while maintaining the best possible patient flow and through put at all times.
Performs related tasks such as assisting patients, maintaining and ordering proper levels of supplies, maintaining cleanliness of work areas and performing routine clerical functions as required.
Requirements:
Must be registered in ultrasound by the ARDMS in at least one application. Must be registered in Vascular Technology.
Sonographers have one year from the date of hire or the date they complete their accredited ultrasound program to become registered.
Experience in Abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and Vascular Ultrasound is required.Registered in Breast Ultrasound is a plus.
Must be current with all CME requirements.
