We are seeking a skilled Strategic Planning Analyst for a temporary assignment with a dynamic and expanding organization. This role will be conducted onsite and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and analyze data to provide insights related to inventory management.
- Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), including Purchase Orders, Fill Rate, Back Order lines, and Claims Submission/Closure time.
- Conduct high-level analysis using tools such as Excel or Access, summarizing findings for management review.
- Develop and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for claims processing.
- Assist the team with regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis concerning inventory management.
- Investigate and resolve supply department issues, recommending action plans for aging claims while maintaining accurate records for reporting.
- Create and execute database queries based on management requirements.
- Engage in the design, testing, and implementation of both short-term and long-term system improvements.
- Monitor KPIs and provide guidance to ensure objectives are met.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management.
- Experience with supplier claims is essential.
- Proven ability to identify issues, propose effective solutions, and follow through to ensure successful outcomes.
- APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) or other supply chain-related certifications are advantageous.
- Required experience in inventory planning.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access.
- Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, or other SQL tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities are essential.
