Job Title: Critical Intervention Specialist

CBEM is seeking a highly skilled Critical Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Critical Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing holistic support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring physical and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive plans to address the immediate and long-term needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Provide prevention, acute, and chronic crisis support to individuals and their families.
  • Collaborate with the individual's circle of support to maintain stability and promote positive outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training and skill development programs to support individuals and their families.
  • Provide family and caregiver support to ensure the individual's needs are met.
  • Integrate services with Regional Centers to ensure seamless support.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or other related fields.
  • Experience in the human services field, with a focus on working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • California Driver's license in good standing and insurance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced crisis response environment.
