Job Title: Critical Intervention Specialist

CBEM is a leading provider of innovative crisis services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Critical Intervention Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, exempt position that requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in the human services field and a strong understanding of crisis intervention principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive plans to address the immediate and long-term needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Provide holistic support and services to individuals and their circle of support to maintain stability.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide prevention, acute, and chronic crisis support, training, and skill development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless support.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the human services field.
  • California Driver's license in good standing and insurance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
