Role Summary: The Front of House Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every guest enjoys a remarkable experience from their initial arrival. This position involves managing guest interactions, overseeing the aesthetic presentation of the venue, and collaborating with team members to facilitate smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, keen attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Core Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival, creating a friendly and professional first impression.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the front-of-house area, ensuring it consistently meets company standards.
- Manage guest flow, including seating arrangements, reservations, and special requests, to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide detailed information regarding our events, services, and facilities, assisting guests with inquiries and offering tailored recommendations.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and event personnel to guarantee timely and accurate service delivery.
- Address guest concerns and feedback with professionalism, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist with event setup, including decor and table arrangements, to ensure the venue is ready for guests.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Act as a liaison between guests and various departments to ensure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a front-of-house, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reservation software and basic office equipment.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or event management are advantageous.
