Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. As a Sales Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the events sales and conference services teams with shared responsibilities across the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into bookings
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to fulfill client requests
  • Prepare event documentation, including timelines, floor plans, and schedules
  • Collaborate with the Director of Event Sales & Services, Director of Conference Services, and other departments to meet and exceed client expectations
Requirements:
  • Prior luxury hotel/resort experience preferred
  • Strong administration and organization skills with a proven ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously in a busy work environment
  • Familiarity with Opera Sales and Catering or a similar Sales & Catering system
  • Ability to interact with customers
  • Multilingual skills are beneficial
