Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Equiliem Healthcare. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for representing our company to patients, drawing quality blood samples, and preparing specimens for lab testing. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
- Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance.
- Work independently, with minimal supervision, to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient information and specimen collection data.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
- Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if applicable.
