Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Services Coordinator to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As an Imaging Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduling and preparation of patients for in-department appointments and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between relevant offices, departments, and external resources to achieve preparation arrangements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maximize productivity in the delivery of radiology images and results.
  • Utilize computerized systems for processing information, archiving, and retrieving image studies.
  • Understand and implement workflows required for the use of radiology images throughout a broad customer base.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Basic Anatomy & Physiology desirable.
Work Experience
  • 2 years medical-related office experience.
  • Prior experience with direct clinical patient care, such as LNA, MA, EMT, or related field.
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly discreet, able to handle confidential materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Compensation

Pay Range: $25.15

Competitive differentials rates:

  • $4.25 - Evenings
  • $8.00 - Nights
  • $4.75 - Weekends
