Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Services Coordinator to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduling and preparation of patients for imaging procedures
  • Act as liaison between departments, offices, and external resources to achieve optimal preparation arrangements
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high productivity in the delivery of radiology images and results
  • Utilize computerized systems for processing information and archiving/retrieving image studies
  • Understand and comply with workflows required for the use of radiology images throughout our customer base
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in a related field preferred
  • 2 years of medical-related office experience; prior experience in direct clinical patient care (LNA, MA, EMT, etc.) a plus
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment with competing priorities
Preferred Skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and advanced computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly discreet and able to handle confidential materials
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments
  • Experience supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Strong customer service skills
Compensation

Competitive salary range: $25.15/hour

Evening, night, and weekend differentials available
