Imaging Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Services Coordinator to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduling and preparation of patients for imaging procedures
- Act as liaison between departments, offices, and external resources to achieve optimal preparation arrangements
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high productivity in the delivery of radiology images and results
- Utilize computerized systems for processing information and archiving/retrieving image studies
- Understand and comply with workflows required for the use of radiology images throughout our customer base
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in a related field preferred
- 2 years of medical-related office experience; prior experience in direct clinical patient care (LNA, MA, EMT, etc.) a plus
- Experience working in a high-volume environment with competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and advanced computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly discreet and able to handle confidential materials
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments
- Experience supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Strong customer service skills
Competitive salary range: $25.15/hour
Evening, night, and weekend differentials available
