About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Services Coordinator to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As an Imaging Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and preparation of patients for in-department appointments and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between relevant offices, departments, and external resources to achieve preparation arrangements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain maximum productivity in the delivery of radiology images and results.
- Utilize computerized systems for processing information, archiving, and retrieving image studies.
- Understand and comply with workflows required for the use of radiology images throughout our customer base.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
- Basic Anatomy & Physiology desirable.
Work Experience
- 2 years of medical-related office experience.
- Prior experience with direct clinical patient care, such as LNA, MA, EMT, or related field.
- Experience working in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of advanced computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly discreet and able to handle confidential materials.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Strong customer service skills.
Compensation
Pay Range: $25.15 per hour.
Competitive Differentials
- $4.25 per hour - Evenings.
- $8.00 per hour - Nights.
- $4.75 per hour - Weekends.
