We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team at The Law Offices of Marc L. Shapiro, P.A. in Southwest Florida. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in handling personal injury cases, particularly those arising from auto accidents and traumatic events.

Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with our firm's contact and case management software to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Process paperwork for new clients efficiently, adhering to established protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and physician's offices through effective communication.
  • Assist in preparing mail, emails, incoming faxes, filings, and drafting correspondence.
  • Keep colleagues informed of work status and workflow to maintain a collaborative environment.
  • Contribute to the preparation of legal documents with close attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is crucial.
  • Motivated self-starter with multitasking ability in high-paced environments is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Zoom is required.
