About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Support Specialist to join our team at NCH Healthcare - Naples Community Hospital. As a key member of our litigation department, you will provide critical support to our attorneys in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide litigation legal support to attorneys, including reviewing, processing, drafting, and researching contractual and other matters.
  • Assist attorneys in all legal matters, including preparing and proofreading correspondence and standard legal documents.
  • Prepare and organize files, copy, compile, and index evidence and exhibits.
  • Prepare trial notebooks, documents, and exhibits, and maintain attorney calendars.
  • Review docket control and scheduling orders to calendar deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research and retrieve documents from databases, directories, and spreadsheets.
  • Provide friendly and accurate customer service by answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
  • Direct phone calls or visitors to the correct person, agency, or department, or take messages.
  • Coordinate and prioritize assignments.
  • Scan, index, and revise documents.
  • Sort and distribute mail, schedule and calendar meetings, maintain and order supplies, and maintain and update filing.
  • Perform special projects within each attorney's assigned area.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
  • A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered.
  • A valid driver's license is required. Successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
