Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

As an Advanced Process Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering customized applications that utilize Rockwell Automation's cutting-edge analytics and control technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of customer processes and developing mathematical models to forecast system behavior.
  • Configuring online applications that leverage these models to optimize process setpoints, thereby enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing the technical implementation of assigned projects from initial design through to commissioning and customer acceptance.
  • Engaging in all facets of technical implementation, including hardware installation and system integration.
Support and Development:

In this role, you will also:

  • Provide ongoing product and application support to existing clients.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and performance evaluations, generating reports to document findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of best practices and mentor junior engineers.
Sales and Management Support:

Your contributions will extend to supporting market development initiatives and participating in sales activities as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining professional development to ensure continued effectiveness in your role.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field with a strong emphasis on modeling, statistics, or process control.
  • A keen interest in automation and advanced control applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience leading complex projects within the process industry.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, industrial control systems, and supervisory control applications.
