Job Opportunity: School-based Behavioral Health Professional

Woodfords Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-based Behavioral Health Professional to join our team in Bangor, ME. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children and adolescents in the public school setting to help them achieve their learning and development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their goals and develop essential life skills.
  • Assess individual goals and develop strategies to support students' behaviors, social skills, and daily routines.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to create a therapeutic and enriched learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a special needs population.
  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
