Job Summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled Leave Case Manager II to serve as a liaison between employees and management. This role provides support for all aspects of leave of absence, ensuring compliance with related leave and disability laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding leave of absence procedures.
  • Research and resolve complex case escalations, including direct employee, manager, and vendor interactions.
  • Partner with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA/FEHA, and HIPAA.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of employee benefits related to leave of absence, including short/long term disability, COBRA, and state disability pay.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Four years' experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of three years' experience in leave of absence administration.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA/FEHA, and HIPAA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment and/or with a high volume of leave management responsibilities.
  • Experience with Lawson, JBDev, or leave case management software.
